Nine people were convicted yesterday of murder or accessory to murder in the killing of a 19 year old woman gunned down by her older brother two days after her wedding, because her Pakistani family disapproved of her choice of husband.
The 12 member jury returned guilty verdicts against the nine, all family and friends, for the murder of Ghazala Khan. Sentencing is expected this week, likely on Friday. Khan, born in Denmark, was killed on September 23, 2005. Her husband was shot twice, but survived.
Note: 7days reports GK to have been 18 years of age and her brother claiming the death was accidental.
Yea, sure d**k face.
